Here are a few things to know as you speak with one of our Attorneys:

CONSULTATION

This is your initial meeting with one of our Attorneys. During this one hour long strategy session, you will explain your situation as fully as you can. We will then talk over your goals and what realistically lies ahead. Bring all relevant documents and a list of questions. Once the session is over, you should have an easier time deciding how to move forward.

Our Family Law consultation fee is $400. 

RETAINER

This is the upfront deposit you pay in exchange for representation. The retainer amount is deposited into our firm’s trust account and used to pay bills as they become due. The retainer does not usually cover the entire cost of our representation of you – as costs depend on many factors, including how litigious the other side chooses to be. Some cases may require an additional retainer or additional payments. We are happy to work with clients on payment plans on a case by case basis.
